Who are the Young Professionals?
The McKinney Young Professionals was established in 2006 to provide a place where
McKinney
young professionals can connect with other young professionals. YP is a quality group of diverse young professionals working together to showcase
McKinney
as the BEST place to live, work and play. We provide members with opportunities to get in front of and build relationships with local community and business leaders. Not only does YP give young professionals a voice - it gives them an outlet for affecting change in the
McKinney
community. YP seeks to work hand-in-hand with current community and business leaders to learn from their experiences and to create a young professional-friendly atmosphere.

Criteria for
McKinney
YP Membership:
- You live or work in
McKinney
- You are in the age range of 21-40 years old
- Payment of annual membership fee - $25 for Members and $35 for not-yet members (membership includes your T-shirt!
Events:
- Monthly After-Hours Networking Events – Around the third Thursday of each month we meet at a different local venue for appetizers and networking starting from 5:30 p.m-7:00 pm. Current members and potential members are welcome! Events are free to attend.
- Civic & Philanthropic Events – Relay for life, Food drives,
- MISD Career Mentoring Partnership-
- Special Events - Special opportunities for members:
Holiday
parties, wine tastings, bowling tournaments, much more fun to come!
